המגבר הזה עושה את הבלתי ייאמן: הוא משלב באורגניות מופלאה בין מיטב התכונות של מגברי העל הטרנזיסטוריים אדירי הכח (שליטה מלאה בכל זוג רמקולים, תמונת במה ענקית, ממוקדת ומרובדת, בסים אולטימטיביים ועוד), לבין נקודות החוזק של מיטב מגברי ה-Single Ended Triode מעוטי הוואטים (ססגוניות טונלית, עושר הרמוני, פירוט מרהיב, זרימה חלקה ביותר ועוד).

ה-EXTREME 1000P הוא מגבר Fully balanced המפיק 500W בקלאס AB ב-8 אוהם, כש-200 הוואטים הראשונים הם בקלאס A. ב-4 אוהם המגבר מפיק 1000W, עם 350W בקלאס A (!).
MAVIS EXTREME 1000P הוא מגבר ייחודי בנוף ההגברה העולמית: תחשבו על מגבר שפופרתי 300B – עם שלב מוצא טרנזיסטורי – בעוצמה של 1000W… שלב הכניסה ושלב הדרייבר שלו הם שפופרתיים, בטופולוגיה של Single Ended וקלאס A, ושלב המוצא שלו הוא שילוב של מוספטים (MOSFETs) ושנאים.
הוא בנוי כל-כולו בעבודת-יד ארטיזנית, עם מעגל מינימליסטי מבריק, בתצורת דואל-מונו אבסולוטית, ועם חיווט Point to Point מלא, מהכניסה ועד היציאה (אין כאן כרטיסים מודפסים!). הוא כולל שני שנאי כח ענקיים במשקל 20 ק"ג כל אחד וארבעה שנאי מוצא במשקל 10 ק"ג כל אחד – כולם תוכננו ונבנו ספציפית עבורו.
